Some of the best value wines in the world come from Spain, and lately our buyers have found a few can't miss bottles for under $15. Such is the case for this ready-to-drink Ribera del Duero, produced from Spain's top vineyards that date back to the early 1950's! Vinos Sin-Ley, the literal translation is "wines without law," is a project with the two fold objective to create new wines that are focused on expressing their respective grapes and terroirs, while also being accessible to consumers, as a great value. The concept is driven by creative innovations utilizing non-conventional methods of harvesting, fermenting, blending and aging. The results are wines with fresh fruit driven flavors, distinct from other wines in the past. Job well done as this is an incredible red for under $15!
"Oak-spiced cherry-vanilla and dark berry scents and hints of coconut and cracked pepper. Broad and chewy on the palate, offering black currant, cherry preserve and bitter chocolate flavors and a touch of licorice. Youthfully chewy tannins lend grip to a long, spicy finish that leaves a sweet dark fruit preserve note behind." The Wine Buyer, 92 Points
